Creating an Account & Signing In

How to register, log in (with a password or Continue with Google), reset a forgotten password, verify your email, and check out as a guest on a BillionBiz store.

You don't need an account to browse a store or add items to your cart — but you'll need one (or guest details) to complete an order and to see your order history later.

At a glance

  • You can register with an email or a phone number, depending on what the merchant has enabled.
  • Guest checkout lets you buy without creating an account; your cart items move over automatically if you log in afterward.
  • Forgotten passwords are reset by email link, not by phone OTP.
  • Stores whose merchant has turned it on show Continue with Google on the Login and Register pages — one tap signs you in or creates your account. Google is the only social option; there is no Apple or Facebook sign-in.

Creating an account

Go to Login → Create account (or /register on the store's site). Depending on how the merchant has configured sign-up, you'll see an email field or a phone field.

FieldNotes
NameYour full name
Email or phoneWhichever the store has enabled — some stores accept only one
PasswordMinimum 8 characters, with a mix of uppercase, lowercase, and numbers

Note

If the merchant has turned on Google sign-in, the register page also shows a Continue with Google button — see Continuing with Google below. Apple and Facebook buttons are never shown.

After you submit the form, the store may ask you to verify your email before you can place an order (see Verifying your email below).

Activating an account for your shop purchases

If you have shopped in the store and gave the shop your phone number, you can sign in to see those purchases and bookings under the same customer, instead of starting a new account.

Screen: Login → Create account (/register). Under the sign-up form select Shopped with us in store? Activate your account. You can also open /register?activate=1 directly. The screen is titled See my shop purchases.

Enter your phone number

Type the Phone number you gave the shop and select Send me a code. A text message with a code arrives only if that number has a shop account, but the screen never says which: it always replies that if the number has a shop account, a code has been sent.

Enter the code and choose how you sign in

Fill in Code from the text message, Email and Choose a password (at least 8 characters). Your name (optional) can be left empty. Select Activate my account; the button stays disabled until the code, email and an 8-character password are entered.

You are signed in

You are signed in as the same customer the shop already had, and sent to Orders, or back to the page that sent you here (for example My bookings). Your shop purchases and bookings now show there. Nothing else is merged.

MessageWhat to do
That code isn't right. Check the message and try again.Re-enter the code from the latest text.
That code has expired. Send a new code to continue.Select Send a new code; you can also use Use a different number to go back.
We couldn't activate this automatically — please contact the shop. The shop's record needs a person to look at it (for example a duplicate, inactive, locked or merged record, an existing login, or an email already used by another customer). The shop's phone and email are shown when the store has contact details set; if none are set, no contact links appear.
We couldn't send a code just now. Please try again in a moment.Wait and try again.

Why didn't I get a code? The number differs from the one the shop has on record, the shop has no text-message sending set up, or too many codes were requested. Signing up the ordinary way with an email creates a brand-new account with no shop history, so use this flow to see your shop purchases.

Signing in

Go to Login. Enter your email (or phone) and password. If the merchant has only enabled phone sign-in, the login form shows a phone field instead of email. Signing in by phone does not extend to password resets: Forgot password works by email only (see Resetting a forgotten password below).

If your credentials are wrong, you'll see "Invalid email or password" (or the phone-specific equivalent) — the message doesn't tell you which one was wrong, for security.

Signed up with Google and can't sign in with a password?

On stores that have Google sign-in set up, a failed email-and-password attempt adds a line under the form: "Signed up with Google? Use Forgot password to set a password." Accounts that Google created for you have no password yet. Select Use Forgot password in that line, set a password from the emailed link, then sign in with your email and that password. The line appears only after a wrong email-and-password attempt, and only on stores where Google sign-in is configured — a store that never set Google up does not show it.

Continuing with Google

Some stores let you sign in, or sign up, with your Google account instead of a password. The merchant decides: the button only appears when the store has switched Google sign-in on, so a store that hasn't simply shows the normal email or phone form.

How it works

Select Continue with Google

On the Login page (or the Register page), select Continue with Google. Your browser leaves the store and opens Google, which asks you to choose an account — even if you are already signed in to one Google account.

Choose your Google account

Pick the account you want to use and approve. Only a Google account whose email address Google has verified can be used.

Return to the store

You come back to the same store address on a short Signing you in with Google... screen. From the Login page you then land on the page you were trying to open (for example checkout), or the homepage if you went to Login directly. From the Register page you land on the homepage. Items in your guest cart are merged into your account the same way as after a password login.

What happens depending on your account

Your situationWhat you see
No account with your Google email yetThe store creates an account from your Google name and email address and signs you in. Nothing else to fill in, and no password is set. Login and Register both do this, so there is no separate "sign up" path.
An account with that email already exists and Google has never been connected to itThe Connect your Google account step (below).
You have connected Google beforeYou are signed in straight away.
The store has deactivated your accountYou are sent back to the Login page with "This account is disabled. Please contact the store." Contact the store.

Connecting Google to an existing account

When an account with your email already exists, the store won't hand it over on the strength of Google alone — you prove it is yours once, with that account's password. The step shows:

  • A heading, Connect your Google account, and the line "An account with this email already exists. Enter your store password once to connect Google to it."
  • A Password field.
  • Forgot password? — takes you to the normal password-reset page.
  • Cancel — returns you to the Login page without connecting anything.
  • Connect and sign in — checks the password, connects Google to the account, and signs you in. While it works the button reads Connecting....

From then on, Continue with Google signs you straight in.

If the password is wrong you stay on the step and see "We couldn't connect your account. Check your password, or start again." After five wrong attempts, or after about ten minutes, the connection attempt is cancelled and you start again by selecting Continue with Google. Repeated failures for the same Google account are also blocked for roughly an hour.

I never chose a password — what do I enter?

Some accounts are created for you without a password you know — for example when the merchant added you, or an order created your account. For those, select Forgot password?, set a password from the email link, then select Continue with Google again and enter the new password. Accounts that Google created for you also have no password; Forgot password on the Login page lets you set one if you ever want to sign in with email too.

Messages you might see on the Login page

If Google sign-in can't finish, you return to the Login (or Register) page with a red message:

MessageMeaning
Google sign-in was cancelled. You can try again or sign in with your email. You closed or declined the Google screen.
Your Google email address is not verified, so we could not sign you in. Please verify it with Google or use your email and password.Google reports that address as unverified.
Google sign-in isn't available for this store right now. Sign in with your email and password, or use Forgot password if you signed up with Google. The store has switched Google sign-in off, its plan no longer includes it, or there was a temporary service problem. If you signed up with Google you have no password yet, so use Forgot password to set one.
This account is disabled. Please contact the store. The store has deactivated your account.
We could not sign you in with Google. Please try again or use your email and password.Anything else — an expired attempt or a Google/network problem. Start again from Continue with Google.

Why don't I see Continue with Google?

The button is the merchant's choice and only shows on stores that have turned it on (and whose plan includes it). If it isn't there, use email or phone as usual — the store can tell you whether Google sign-in is planned. Once you are signed in, a store that offers Google also shows a Connected accounts card on your Profile page; see Profile, Notifications & Account Settings.

Verifying your email

If the store requires email verification, you'll land on the Verify your email screen after registering. Enter the code sent to your inbox, or tap Resend if it didn't arrive. Verifying successfully signs you in and takes you to the store's homepage.

Resetting a forgotten password

Request a reset link

Go to Login → Forgot password. Enter your email in the email field and select Send Reset Link (the button reads Sending... while it works). The form checks the address first: an empty field shows "Email is required" and an address that is not shaped like an email shows "Enter a valid email address"; nothing is sent until it is valid. If an account exists, the store sends a password-reset link to your inbox and the page changes to Check Your Email. If the request itself fails, a red "Failed to send reset link. Please try again." message appears and nothing is sent — try again. Resetting by phone is not available: a phone request shows "Password reset by phone isn't available yet — please use your email address."

Open the link

The reset link is valid for a limited time. If it has expired, go back to Forgot password and request a new one.

Set a new password

Follow the link to the Reset password screen and enter a new password. Once it's saved, sign in with your new credentials.

Tip

Whether or not the email address you enter has an account, the store shows the same "check your inbox" message — this is intentional, so no one can use the forgot-password form to find out which emails are registered.

The reCAPTCHA notice on sign-in pages

Stores protect the sign-in forms against automated attempts with Google reCAPTCHA, which works in the background without asking you to tick anything. The small floating reCAPTCHA badge is not shown on the store, so it never sits over a button on a phone. In its place, a short line of small text appears below the form: "This site is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply."

  • It appears on the Login, Register and Forgot password pages, and on the Connect your Google account step described above.
  • Privacy Policy and Terms of Service are links to Google's pages. Each opens in a new browser tab, so the form you are filling in stays as it was.
  • There is nothing to fill in or accept. The line is information only and does not block the form.

Why don't I see the reCAPTCHA line?

The line only appears where reCAPTCHA is active on the storefront, because the notice belongs to the protection itself. It is a platform setting, not something a merchant switches on or off, and where reCAPTCHA is not active the forms simply show no line. Do not look for the floating badge: it is hidden everywhere.

Checking out as a guest

You don't have to register to buy something. At checkout, enter your shipping details and email — the store creates a guest order tied to that email, without a password.

Your cart follows you

If you add items to your cart as a guest and then log in or register (in the same browser) before checking out, your guest cart items are merged into your account's cart automatically — matching items combine quantities, and anything already in your account cart is kept.

Next steps

Use the account for this store

Accounts are scoped to the store you are visiting. Open Login on that store's own site, enter the credentials registered there and submit. The same email or phone at another store does not select that other store's customer profile. When creating an account, use Login → Create account on the intended store.

Why can I sign in at one store but not another? Check the storefront address before retrying or registering. A customer account at one store does not establish an account or order access at another. Ask the intended store for help with its account; do not keep resetting a different store's password.
