The Hosting Workspace: Plans & Getting Started
Two ways to unlock Hosting — the Hosted App add-on for existing store merchants, or a dedicated Hosting plan — and a tour of the workspace once it's live.
Hosting is available two ways, depending on whether you already run a BillionBiz store.
If you have a store: the Hosted App add-on
Any merchant on any store plan — including Free — can add standalone website hosting as a per-app add-on. You buy one "app" per website you want to host.
| Add-on | Monthly | Annual | Per unit you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hosted App (required) | ₹399 | ₹3,990 | 1 website, 5 GB storage, 50 GB bandwidth/month, 1 custom domain, 5 deploy-history slots, 500 form submissions/month, Google Analytics, SEO tools |
| Storage top-up | ₹99 | ₹990 | +10 GB storage |
| Bandwidth top-up | ₹149 | ₹1,490 | +100 GB bandwidth/month |
| Forms top-up | ₹199 | ₹1,990 | +5,000 form submissions/month |
The Hosted App add-on is the only purchase required to unlock hosting — it switches on the Hosted Apps area in your admin panel. Need more than one website? Buy additional Hosted App units. Storage, bandwidth, and form-submission allowances add up across all your units; per-unit limits (such as custom domains per site) use the per-unit value. Top-ups let you scale a single resource without buying a whole extra app.
Prices above are before GST
The amounts in the table are the GST-exclusive base price. India's 18% GST is added on top for every add-on and top-up, the same way it's added to store-plan subscriptions — see Pricing & Plans: GST on your subscription for the full breakdown and worked example.
Each add-on card shows the tax on screen before you commit to anything. Under the quantity selector you'll see two lines: Total: ₹499 (the base price × the quantity you picked) and, directly beneath it, + 18% GST ₹89.82 → ₹588.82 to pay. Both update live as you change the quantity. The second line is the amount that Razorpay's hosted Checkout will charge when you click Buy Add-on — so the two never disagree.
Add-ons priced in a currency other than INR show no GST line, because the platform's GST applies to INR billing only.
Already a store merchant?
You don't go through sign-up again. Open your admin panel, go to Settings → Billing & Plan → Add-ons, and buy a Hosted App add-on. The Hosted Apps area appears in your sidebar the moment the payment is verified.
Buying a Hosted App (or a top-up)
Every add-on — Hosted App, Storage top-up, Bandwidth top-up, and Forms top-up — is its own card on this screen, each with the same buy flow:
Open Add-ons
Go to Settings → Billing & Plan → Add-ons.
Pick a billing cycle
Each card has Monthly and Annual choices. Annual carries the Save 17% badge.
Set the quantity
Use the − / + stepper to choose how many units to buy (for Storage/Bandwidth/Forms top-ups, one unit = the amount shown in the pricing table above). The card totals the price live as you adjust it.
Select Buy Add-on
If you don't already have this add-on active, the button reads Buy Add-on; if you already have units of it, it reads Add Another App instead — either way it starts the same purchase.
Complete hosted checkout
When money is due, Razorpay's hosted Checkout opens. Choose any payment method Razorpay presents for your account and complete it there; BillionBiz does not ask for card fields or a card-saving choice in its own dialog.
Check the active badge
An active add-on shows a badge on its card with the quantity you own, for example Active · 2 apps.
How Monthly works with an Annual store plan
If your store plan is Annual and you buy a hosting add-on as Monthly, the first charge is the full displayed monthly base price, plus GST where applicable. It starts a separate one-month term from the purchase date and renews monthly on that own date using your saved default payment method; it is not included in the plan's annual renewal. On a Monthly store plan, a Monthly add-on is instead prorated to the plan's next renewal date and stays aligned with that plan renewal.
If the own-date renewal cannot be charged, the add-on stays active for 48 hours and retries once after 24 hours. It is paused if the retry has not succeeded by the end of the 48-hour grace. Its card then returns to Buy Add-on; complete the purchase again to restart it.
When grace starts, BillionBiz sends one [Add-on name] renewal payment failed message to the store's point-of-contact email. It says the saved method could not be charged, gives the grace-end date, confirms the add-on keeps working while payment is retried, and directs you to update the card under Billing. If grace ends unpaid, one [Add-on name] paused email says the add-on paused while your plan and the rest of the store remain unchanged. A successful add-on renewal does not send a separate success email.
A successful own-date renewal creates a payment and a paid invoice. Find both under Settings → Billing & Plan → Plan & Billing → Billing History on the classic skin. On v2, use Settings → Billing & Plan → overview → billing history → payments / tax invoices; invoices are also available from the top-level invoices tab, and the paid total contributes to billing trend → monthly spend.
Cancelling an add-on
Open Add-ons
Go to Settings → Billing & Plan → Add-ons.
Find the active add-on
Find the active hosting add-on card.
Select Cancel Add-on
Select Cancel Add-on beneath Buy Add-on or Add Another App.
Check the dialog
For an add-on with a date on its current paid period, the dialog asks
Cancel your <add-on name> add-on? It keeps working until [date]. If the add-on row has no date,
the dialog instead says Cancel your <add-on name> add-on? If you've paid for the current period,
it keeps working until that period ends.
Confirm the cancellation
Select Cancel add-on. BillionBiz first tries to use the active store plan's future end date for an undated priced add-on. If it finds one, cancellation is scheduled. Cancellation is immediate only when there is no identifiable paid period — a free or missing-price add-on, a complimentary/non-billable grant, or an older paid record with no future add-on or active-plan date.
Check the result
A scheduled cancellation keeps the add-on active but stops its next renewal. The success message says Add-on cancelled. It keeps working until [date]. The card changes from Renews on [date] to Cancelled · active until [date] and removes Cancel Add-on. Access ends at the displayed boundary. An immediate cancellation shows only Add-on cancelled.
Select Add Another App if needed
If you want to keep a scheduled hosting or top-up add-on, select Add Another App before the period ends.
Complete the purchase
Complete the purchase.
Check the updated card
The purchase clears the cancellation, keeps the add-on active, and adds only the newly purchased quantity.
Renewal invoices and payment history
Open Billing
Go to Settings → Billing & Plan.
Open payment history
On the classic skin, stay on Plan & Billing, find Billing History, and open Payments. On v2, open overview → billing history → payments.
Match the renewal payment
Match the renewal by date and amount.
Open the invoice list
On the classic skin, switch to Invoices. On v2, open tax invoices under billing history, or open the top-level invoices tab.
Download the invoice
Use Download PDF on the classic skin or download PDF on v2.
Check monthly spend
On v2, the paid renewal invoice contributes to billing trend → monthly spend on overview.
I was charged for a renewal but cannot find the invoice
The payment is stored before its invoice is created, so a bookkeeping failure can leave the charge visible without the invoice. Do not repeat the add-on purchase to generate another invoice.
Match the payment
Check the successful payment by date and amount.
Check both invoice views
Check the classic Invoices view and the v2 tax invoices or top-level invoices view.
Contact support
If the invoice is still missing, contact support with the charge date and amount for reconciliation.
If you only need hosting: a Hosting plan
If you want website hosting without a store, choose a dedicated Hosting plan at sign-up. Annual billing is the equivalent of two months free.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Apps | Storage | Bandwidth/mo | Domains/site | Deploy history | Form submissions/mo |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | ₹499 | ₹4,990 | 1 | 5 GB | 50 GB | 1 | 5 | 500 |
| Pro | ₹1,499 | ₹14,990 | 5 | 25 GB | 250 GB | 3 | 20 | 5,000 |
| Business | ₹3,999 | ₹39,990 | 20 | 100 GB | 1,000 GB | 10 | 50 | 25,000 |
All Hosting plans include custom domains with automatic HTTPS, Google Analytics, and SEO tools. A hosting-only account sees a streamlined admin panel — Hosted Apps, Newsletter, SEO, Analytics, and Billing — with the store-only sections hidden.
Billing
Choose Monthly or Annual at checkout; annual saves roughly two months. Mid-cycle purchases and upgrades are prorated automatically. There is no free tier for standalone website hosting — your store hosting remains free on every store plan. Prices in the table above are GST-exclusive; 18% GST is added on top, and the checkout screen and your invoice history both show the exact GST-inclusive amount before you pay — see Pricing & Plans: GST on your subscription.

The Hosting workspace tour
Once hosting is unlocked, a Hosted Apps entry appears in your left sidebar, under a dedicated Hosting group. Click it to open your list of hosted websites.
Screen: Go to Hosting → Hosted Apps.
Hosting-only accounts see a focused sidebar: Hosted Apps, Newsletter (under Marketing), SEO, Analytics, and Billing. Store accounts with the add-on keep their full store sidebar and gain the Hosted Apps entry, plus an app-selector in the top bar to scope hosting screens to a specific website.
Inside a site you'll find these tabs:
| Tab | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Overview | Live URL, last deployment, quota usage, and a quick traffic snapshot |
| Deployments | Upload a new build, see deployment history, promote or roll back |
| Domains | Your free subdomain plus any custom domains, with the DNS setup guide |
| Submissions | Lead/contact form submissions captured from your site |
| Activity | A timeline of every deploy, domain, and settings change |
| Settings | Form recipient email, routing mode (static vs. single-page app), and more |
Account-wide, Settings → Billing & Plan → Add-ons is where you buy and manage hosting capacity, and Marketing → Newsletter is where you manage subscribers and campaigns across all your sites.
Site status
Each site in your list carries its own status chip, separate from the deployment states covered in Creating & Deploying a Site:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | The site is live and serving normally |
| Provisioning | The site was just created and its infrastructure is still being set up |
| Archived | The site has been taken offline (shown in a neutral colour, not an error) |
| Failed | Something went wrong provisioning the site |
If you're at your site limit
If your plan or add-on quantity caps how many sites you can host and you've reached it, an upgrade banner appears above your sites list and the Add Site button is disabled. The banner tells you which feature is capped and links you to buy more capacity — from your existing Hosted App add-ons (buy another unit) or by upgrading your Hosting plan.
