Pricing & Plans (Free / Starter / Growth / Pro / Max)

Compare the Free, Starter, Growth, Pro, and Max plans by price and limits, then learn how to change plans and respond to a limit.

BillionBiz has five online-store plans: Free, Starter, Growth, Pro, and Max. The prices below are monthly, GST-exclusive base prices in INR; limits and included features follow the current production plan catalogue.

How plans work

  • Plans control features (included or unavailable capabilities) and limits (allowances such as products, users, or monthly emails).
  • The Usage tab warns you at 80% of a finite count limit and shows Upgrade Plan when you reach it.
  • To compare or change plans, go to Settings → Billing & Plan → Plan & Billing, then select View Plans.

Appointments is separate from the plan price

No plan includes Appointments automatically. Every plan needs one active paid Appointments add-on; its current price is shown in Settings → Billing & Plan → Add-ons. The add-on unlocks the feature, while the plan supplies the active-offering cap shown above and the Users allowance for team members. See Plans, Add-ons & Team Allowances.

What happens when you hit a limit

Watch finite limits in Usage

The Usage tab shows enabled count-based allowances as current use against your limit. Use its remaining count and warning state to decide when you need a plan with a larger allowance.

Not every feature has a usage bar

The Usage tab tracks enabled count-based limits. Included or unavailable yes/no features do not appear there, so use the comparison table above when you need to check one of those capabilities.

On Settings → Billing & Plan, open the Usage tab. Enabled, count-based resources such as Products, Users, Coupons, Monthly Orders, and Emails show their current use against the plan's allowance:

  • At 80% of a limit, a yellow warning appears so you have time to plan ahead.
  • At 100%, a red alert appears with Upgrade Plan.
  • Truly unlimited resources on your plan show as "X / Unlimited".

Monthly Orders is a hard limit, not just a warning

Unlike most resources above, reaching your plan's Monthly Orders cap doesn't just prompt an upgrade — it actively blocks new orders (storefront checkout, admin-created orders, and WhatsApp checkout alike) until the counter resets at the start of next calendar month or you upgrade to a plan with a higher allowance. Full detail on exactly what's blocked and what customers/admins see is in Plans & Billing: What happens at the monthly order cap.

Choosing or changing your plan

Go to Settings → Billing & Plan → Plan & Billing to review and switch plans.

Open the plan chooser

Select View Plans. The Choose a Plan dialog lists every available plan.

Choose monthly or annual billing

Annual billing is cheaper per month. BillionBiz shows the effective monthly cost alongside the full annual amount so the saving is clear.

Pick your plan

Each option is labelled Upgrade, Downgrade, or Current relative to your plan today, with prices shown for your chosen billing cycle.

Review the Switch Summary

Before you pay anything, BillionBiz calculates proration: credit for unused time on your current plan, any existing account credit, the new plan's price, and the exact amount due today. If the math results in excess credit, it stays on your account and reduces your next renewal.

Pay securely

Select Continue to Payment (or Pay [currency] [amount]) to open Razorpay's hosted Checkout, then choose any payment method Razorpay presents for your account. BillionBiz does not collect card fields or show an optional card-saving control in its own dialog. Closing Checkout shows Checkout closed. No payment was made. and leaves the switch incomplete.

Your plan switches the moment payment is confirmed, and new features and limits are available right away.

Looking for an upgrade button on another screen?

Some screens elsewhere in the Admin Panel (like Settings → Preferences) show a locked-feature badge for capabilities above your current plan, but that badge is informational only — it isn't a clickable upgrade shortcut everywhere it appears. To actually change your plan, go to Settings → Billing & Plan.

GST on your subscription

Every price you see on the pricing page and inside Settings → Billing & Plan is the GST-exclusive base price — the amount before tax. BillionBiz adds India's Goods and Services Tax (GST) on top of that base and charges the combined total; the plan price alone is never what gets charged to your card.

The rate can change

GST is currently charged at 18%. BillionBiz reads the live rate from its billing system at checkout time rather than hardcoding it, so if the rate is ever revised, every screen below always shows the rate actually being charged — not a stale number from this page.

Worked example — a plan priced at ₹1,299/month:

Amount
Base price (GST-exclusive)₹1,299.00
GST (18%)₹233.82
Total charged₹1,532.82

The same math applies to annual billing: a ₹12,999/year plan is charged ₹15,338.82/year (₹2,339.82 GST). GST is calculated on the exact price you'd pay for your chosen billing cycle, not on the monthly-equivalent number shown next to an annual price.

Where you see the GST breakdown

Your current plan

On Settings → Billing & Plan, the price under your active plan's name shows a "+18% GST" note and, right below it, the GST-inclusive total ("₹1,532.82 total incl. GST").

The plan chooser

Click View Plans. Every plan row shows its base price plus a line reading "+ 18% GST → ₹X total" — that total is the exact amount you'll be charged if you pick that plan and cycle. This holds everywhere plans are listed, including on the newer admin sidebar's v2 skin — the plan-tab card grid, the plan comparison table, and the initial plan-browsing drawer all show the same GST line under each plan's price, not just the payment step of an actual switch.

The payment step of a plan switch

The Switch Summary shows the amount due today. If your switch isn't a proration (a fresh plan purchase with no credit to apply), a caption under the total reads "Includes 18% GST" and the Pay button's amount is the GST-inclusive total — the same number Razorpay actually charges.

Your next invoice preview

Further down the Billing screen, the "next invoice" card breaks the charge into two lines — the plan's base price, then "GST @ 18%" — followed by the GST-inclusive total.

Invoice history

Where you see this depends on which admin skin you're on. On the classic skin's Invoices sub-tab and the v2 skin's dedicated invoices tab, each row shows a single GST-inclusive Amount column — the full breakdown isn't split out in the table, but it is on the downloaded PDF, whose totals block shows Taxable value plus a GST (18%) line (only for invoices that carry tax — see the callout below). On the v2 skin's overview tab, the invoice history panel goes further and shows a taxable-amount column and a GST column alongside the total, right in the table.

Not the same as your store's own invoice template

This is BillionBiz's invoice for your subscription fee — a fixed, backend-generated PDF you can't customize. It's unrelated to Customizing Your Invoice, which controls the invoices your store sends to your customers for their orders.

When there's no GST line

  • Free plan — the Free plan has no price, so nothing above shows a GST line or total; there's nothing to tax.
  • Non-INR plans — if your plan is priced in a currency other than INR (USD, EUR, GBP), Indian GST does not apply, and none of the screens above show a GST line for it. You're charged exactly the listed price.

Why is the amount on my card higher than the price on the pricing page?

This is expected, not a billing error. Every displayed plan price is the GST-exclusive base; the amount actually charged (shown right before you pay, on the plan-switch Pay button and the payment summary) always includes the 18% GST on top. If a number surprises you, check the "+18% GST" line next to the price you were looking at — it explains the gap.

Why does an older invoice show no GST?

Invoices issued before GST was added to subscription billing keep their original ₹0 tax line — they are historical records and aren't recalculated retroactively. Only invoices issued from this change onward show a real GST breakdown.

What happens on downgrade

If you move to a lower-tier plan and your current usage exceeds what that plan allows, BillionBiz shows a Downgrade Impact screen before the switch completes. Count-limit entries show your current usage, the new limit, which listed items remain active, and which listed items will be disabled. The panel also warns that you have a 24-hour grace period to adjust usage, and you must acknowledge the impact before continuing.
