Signing In, Password Reset & Team Invites

Every screen you or a teammate will see when signing in, resetting a password, verifying an email, or accepting an invitation to join a store.

Once your store exists, here are the screens you and your team will use whenever someone needs to get into the Admin Panel.

Go to admin.billionbiz.store (or the link in your welcome email). Enter your Email address and Password, then click Sign in. An eye icon in the password field shows or hides what you've typed, and Forgot? inside the password field opens the password-reset screen (see Forgot password below). The form is protected by an invisible security check that blocks automated login attempts without interrupting real users.

Bookmarked the old admin address?

The Admin Panel used to live at admin.billionbiz.in. That address still works and forwards you to admin.billionbiz.store automatically, so an old bookmark or an older welcome email will still get you to the sign-in screen. Update the bookmark when convenient — you will not be locked out either way.

Below the Sign in button, under an or divider, a Continue with Google button — see Signing in with Google below. At the bottom of the screen, Privacy and Terms open those pages on the BillionBiz website, and Support opens a new email to BillionBiz support in your mail app.

Same look in the classic and new admin

Sign in, Forgot password and Set password (the reset and invitation screen) always use the new (v2) design, whichever admin theme your store uses, classic (v1) or new (v2). The theme setting only changes the screens you see after signing in, so you will never meet a classic-looking sign-in screen and there is nothing to switch.

If your email is linked to more than one store

If the email you sign in with is associated with multiple stores, BillionBiz shows a store picker after you enter your credentials — choose which store you want to manage before continuing. The picker is only shown when your password is correct: a wrong password gives the plain "Invalid email or password" error with no store list and no extra pop-up, and when several stores share the email but only some use that password, only those stores are listed.

Signing in with Google

Team members who already have an Admin Panel account can sign in with Google instead of typing a password. Google never creates an Admin Panel account: if you have not been invited, there is nothing for Google to sign you into (new teammates are invited by an Owner or Store Admin, see Team member invitations below). Unlike the storefront's customer Google sign-in, this does not depend on your store's plan or any setting — it is available to every account.

Select Continue with Google

On the Sign in screen, click Continue with Google. You leave the Admin Panel for Google's account chooser, which always asks which Google account to use.

Choose the Google account with your Admin Panel email

Pick the Google account that uses the same email address as your Admin Panel account, and approve. You return to the Admin Panel on a Signing you in with Google... screen.

First time only: connect it with your password

If Google has never been connected to your account, a Connect your Google account window opens: "A BillionBiz admin account already exists for" your email (partly hidden) "Enter its password once to connect Google." Type your usual password in Password and click Connect and sign in. Cancel returns you to the Sign in screen, and Forgot password? opens the password-reset screen. After this, Continue with Google signs you straight in.

Pick a store if asked

If the Google account is connected to, or matches, more than one store, a Select a store to continue window lists them — choose the store to manage. Closing it returns you to the Sign in screen.

You land on your Dashboard (or, for appointment staff, on the page their role opens to), exactly as after a password sign-in. If you started from Connect Google on your Profile, you return there instead.

When Google sign-in doesn't work

A red message appears above the form on the Sign in screen:

MessageMeaning
Google sign-in was cancelled. You can try again or sign in with your password. You closed or declined the Google screen.
Google has not verified the email on that account, so we can't sign you in with it. Verify it with Google or use your password.Google reports the address as unverified.
Google sign-in isn't available right now. Please sign in with your password.A temporary problem starting the Google sign-in.
No BillionBiz admin account exists for that Google email. Ask your store owner to invite you, or sign in with your password. The Google email you chose has no Admin Panel account behind it. Google sign-in never creates an account. Ask your store owner or a Store Admin to invite you, or sign in with your password and attach the Google account you want from Profile → Security → Connect Google.
We couldn't sign you in with this Google account.A general failure: your account has been deactivated, the Google account has no Admin Panel access, or the attempt expired. It deliberately does not say which.

Why does Google say I have no account?

Check three things: the Google account's email must match your Admin Panel email, or the Google account must already be connected to your admin account under Profile → Security → Connect Google (a personal Gmail address will not match a work email until you connect it); your account must be active — ask an Owner or Store Admin if you have been deactivated; and the password you type in the connect window is your Admin Panel password, not your Google password. After five wrong passwords the attempt is cancelled and you start again from Continue with Google. You can always fall back to email and password. To connect a different Google account or remove the Google shortcut later, see Your Personal Account & Profile.

When the Sign in screen says your access has been removed

If an Owner or Store Admin deactivates or removes your account while you are signed in, your next request in the Admin Panel signs you out and returns you to the Sign in screen with the red message "Your access has been removed. Please contact your administrator." A change to your role takes effect on your next request — you do not need to sign out and back in. Signing in again will not work until an Owner or Store Admin reactivates or re-invites you; see Team: People, Seats & Access.

Forgot password

Start the reset

On the Sign in screen, click Forgot? in the password field. Under reset your password?, enter the email address registered to your account in Email address and click Send reset link. If the address isn't shaped like an email, the screen says "Enter a valid email address" and sends nothing. Remembered it after all? Remember it now? Sign in takes you back.

Check your email

The screen changes to check your inbox. with "We sent a link to" your address, and a note that the link expires in 30 minutes. Not there? Check spam, then use Didn't get it? Resend, or Back to sign in. Click the link in the email to open the set a new password. screen.

One email, several stores: one reset email per store

If the email address is registered to more than one store account, you receive a separate reset email for each account, each with its own link. A link resets the password for only the store account it was sent for, so open the email for the store you want to fix (the others keep their passwords). If you only see one email, check spam, since they arrive separately.

Set your new password

Enter your new password in both the New password and Confirm password fields — both have show/hide toggles. As you type, a strength meter (Weak, Fair, Good, Strong) shows how many of four criteria your password meets: at least 8 characters, upper and lower case, a number, and a symbol. The confirm field says Passwords do not match or Passwords match as you type. Once all four criteria are met and the two fields match, click Set password. You are not signed in automatically: the screen changes to password updated. with a Sign in button — click it and sign in with your new password.

If the link has expired

Reset links last 30 minutes. If you open the page without the link's token (for example a truncated link), the screen says this link has expired. and offers Request a new link, which opens the Forgot password screen, plus Back to sign in. If the link has a token but BillionBiz rejects it, a red message appears on the form instead. Either way, send yourself a fresh link from the Forgot password screen.

Email verification

Some account actions — such as changing your registered email address — send a verification link to confirm you own the new address. Click the link in the email and BillionBiz verifies it automatically; you'll see a success confirmation and a button back to Sign In.

If the link has expired, the same screen lets you enter your email and request a new verification message.

If verification fails for any other reason (not expiry — for example, the link was already used or is malformed), you'll see a distinct error screen instead: a description of the problem and a single Back to sign in button. There's no resend form on this screen, since the issue isn't solved by waiting for a new code — go back to Sign In and start over.

Team member invitations

When an Owner or Store Admin invites you to join a store's Admin Panel, you receive an email with a personalised invitation link. Opening it takes you to the same set a new password. screen used for password resets — two password fields with the same strength meter described above. Choose a password, confirm it, and click Set password. The screen then says password updated.; click Sign in and sign in with the email you were invited at and your new password. You never see or need the store owner's password.

Where invitations are sent from

Sending the invitation itself is done by an Owner or Store Admin from the Team page (Team → Team) (covered in the Team & Settings section) — this page only covers what the invited teammate sees when they open the email.

The Admin Panel has no create-store page

The Admin Panel does not have a register or create-store screen: it only signs in existing accounts and accepts team invitations. To open a new store, use the public signup wizard at billionbiz.store → Get Started, covered in Signing Up & Onboarding Your Store.

Session expiry while you're working

Admin Panel sessions don't last forever. If yours dies while you have a page open — mid-edit in the Landing Page Editor, for example — BillionBiz doesn't yank you back to the Sign In screen and throw away what you were doing. Instead, a red banner appears fixed to the top of the screen:

  • Your session has expired
  • "You're still viewing your last known state, but changes won't save until you sign in again."
  • A Sign in again button, top-right of the banner.

Your work stays on screen

The page underneath the banner does not unmount or navigate away. Whatever you had open — including unsaved canvas edits in the Landing Page Editor or another builder — stays exactly as it was. The banner is a heads-up, not a forced logout: nothing is discarded until you click Sign in again yourself.

You see the banner

It appears the moment BillionBiz detects your session can no longer be renewed — typically after your access token expires and the automatic refresh attempt itself is rejected (not merely slow).

Finish what you can, then sign in again

Copy out anything you need, then click Sign in again on the banner. You'll be signed out and taken to the Sign In screen described above.

Sign back in

Enter your credentials as normal. Note that saving is disabled for the rest of the page you were on until you do this — the banner's warning ("changes won't save") is literal, so don't rely on autosave while it's showing.

Why did my editor suddenly ask me to sign in — did I lose my work?

No. The banner appearing means your login session ended, not that your edits were cleared. The page you were on stays mounted with everything still visible on screen; only saving is blocked until you sign in again. This is a deliberate change from how session expiry used to behave: it previously logged you out immediately and redirected to Sign In, which unmounted the page you were on and could silently lose unsaved editor state. It now leaves the page alone and asks first.

A blip on your internet or our servers is not the same thing

BillionBiz distinguishes a genuinely dead session from a temporary connectivity hiccup (your internet dropping, or a brief backend outage). A transient failure — no response at all, a 502, 503, or 504 from the server, or a timed-out request — does not trigger this banner, because your session may still be perfectly valid once the hiccup passes. If you don't see the banner, an odd error is more likely a passing network issue than a session problem — try the action again in a moment rather than assuming you need to sign in.
